How to Check if Your Coffee Maker Is BPA-Free
To start, you’ll need to take the coffee maker apart. There’s nothing wrong with doing this, as you’ll be able to see all the components inside.
Once you have the coffee maker disassembled, you’ll want to look at the inside of the lid. If you notice any plastic that looks white, gray, or translucent, then it’s likely that the coffee maker has BPA.
The next step is to check to see if the coffee maker has a seal that is clearly marked on the inside of the lid. If it does, then it’s possible that the coffee maker has BPA and you should avoid using it.
